Figures from real use.
01 / A SCENE YOU KNOW
Your visitor is standing on your site, phone in hand. Your website made the appointment possible, and now it has nothing to say. The signage knows one language. At reception there is nobody, or a queue. This is exactly where day.guide begins.
A QR code on the door, on the sign, on the business card. No app store, no account, free for visitors. Choose a language and you're in.
Zero seconds to installDirectory, navigation to the building, then the photo route: picture by picture to the right door. No more “Where exactly are you?” phone calls.
All the way to the right doorOnce they have arrived, visitors have time. Tour suggestion, café, event, booking: your offers are there when visitors need them, not once they have long forgotten them.
Visitors become guestsWHAT YOU SAVE YOURSELF
02 / THE LAST 200 METRES
A large site, several entrances, a room on the second floor. Your visitors follow photos with clear arrows and confirm for themselves when they reach the next point. No beacon, no indoor map, no hardware in the building.
The module facility managers ask for first. Recorded on a phone, in one afternoon, without a technician.

01 / Arrive. In your own language.
On the first visit, the language selection opens. Twelve languages make getting started easy, with no registration and free of charge for visitors.
The choice stays saved in this browser for up to twelve months. Clearing browser data resets it.02 / One place. One starting point.
After choosing a language, the home screen shows what the site offers: TourGuide, companies, places to visit, offers, timetable and quick everyday essentials.
Visitors first see what's there, then decide where to go.03 / Make good use of time.
One hour or half a day? In the TourGuide, visitors choose time and interests and receive a matching tour suggestion.
A suggestion for orientation that visitors choose and use themselves.04 / Find the right contact.
Search the company finder by name or category. The matching entry offers contact details, navigation to the building and published photo routes.

Restaurants, activities, photo spots and other places can be explored by interest. The relevant information stays in the same guide.
Local offers become visible, even before visitors have gone looking for them.06 / What's on locally.
Events get a shared place with date, description and further information. The local programme becomes part of the stay.
Real event view at the time of capture; the programme is maintained by the operator.07 / Small question. Big help.
When you need a toilet, a quick answer counts. The toilet finder shows the stored location and the way there.
Everyday essentials like this are part of what makes a good visitor guide.03 / WHAT YOUR GUIDE CAN DO
We build it for you: your logo, your colours, your images, your content, your languages and exactly the functions your site needs. You don't assemble anything and you don't learn any software. You tell us how your place works, and you receive the finished guide.
Visitors choose time and interests, the AI puts together a tour suggestion. Start from a QR starting point or the current location, one tap and Google Maps leads the way.

Visits, time spent, most-used areas and your visitors' languages. No cookies, no IP addresses.

ON REQUEST: WHAT WE BUILD IN ADDITION FOR YOUR SITE
We build anything that makes sense for your place. For example:
04 / LANGUAGES
Twelve at the SIG Areal, three in an office building, twenty in a tourism region. Your team enters content once. The admin area translates it by AI into every activated language, and your team checks and approves. Arabic runs correctly from right to left, and any further language is added as soon as your place needs it.
For context: at the SIG Areal, 42% of visits run in a language other than German. Eleven of the twelve languages are actually chosen.
05 / YOUR TEAM MAINTAINS IT. YOU SEE THE FIGURES.
The people who know your place maintain it themselves: in the protected admin area on the computer or on the go on their phone. Roles and approvals define who may change what. Every change is logged. We train your team, and the rest takes minutes.
Companies and events are synced from your existing website, places imported from Google Places and routes from GPX. Nothing is maintained twice.
Record photo routes, set QR starting points, add offers and menus, check translations.
Save as a draft first, then approve. The change is live in seconds, with no store update and no reinstall.
06 / FIGURES INSTEAD OF GUT FEELING
The dashboard shows visits, page views, time spent, the most-used areas and your visitors' languages, for today, 7, 30 or 90 days. No cookies, no IP addresses, no tracking banner.
On the right, the real figures from the SIG Areal since the launch in May 2026. This is exactly how you will see your own, and exactly how you will show them to your board.
NOT A CONCEPT ON PAPER.07 / THE CASE STUDY
The SIG Areal in Neuhausen am Rheinfall: 55 companies, several entrances, guests from all over the world. Since May 2026 it has been running the first implementation of day.guide, with its own design, companies and events synced with sigareal.ch, twelve languages and photo routes right to the meeting room. What that looks like day to day, which modules are in use and what the figures say is all in the case study.
Read the case study Open the SIG Areal App live ↗SETUP + ONGOING OPERATION
Fixed prices with a clearly defined scope: setup is a one-off, ongoing operation depends on the edition and the size of your site. Languages and additional modules depend on your place and are stated in the quote, not in the small print.
For large buildings, halls and premises with many rooms, where visitors need to find the right door.
For municipalities, towns and sites that bring together contact points, companies and offers.
For destinations and associations that accompany guests throughout the region.
All operating prices apply per site. Annual payment with a 10% discount is available; minimum term 12 months, then cancellable monthly. Fair use of the AI functions is included, exceptionally high usage is agreed as an add-on package. We deliver four sites per quarter so that every setup gets the attention it needs.
THE IDEA BEHIND IT
Developed by fdk.ai in Neuhausen am Rheinfall. day.guide grew out of a concrete question: how do visitors find the right door on a site with many companies, entrances and offers, in their own language? The answer runs at the SIG Areal today and is built anew for every further place.
To the SIG Areal case study ↗GOOD TO KNOW
day.guide is a visitor guide for sites, buildings, municipalities and tourism regions. Visitors open it in the browser via QR code, with no download and in their own language: directory, photo routes to the right door, tour suggestions, events, offers and further modules. fdk.ai from Neuhausen am Rheinfall builds every guide individually for the site. The first implementation has been running as the SIG Areal App since May 2026.
Three editions at a fixed price per site: Building from CHF 290 per month with a one-off setup of CHF 4’900, Municipality & site from CHF 390 per month with setup of CHF 9’900, Tourism region CHF 990 per month with setup of CHF 11’900. Operation, updates and support are included. The prices are indicative; the quote for your site is decisive.
No. Your website remains the hub for everything that happens before the visit. day.guide takes over on site: orientation, tour, offers. Companies and events are synced from your website, and every action in the app leads back to your place and your website.
No. You tell us how your place works. We build the complete guide: design, structure, content, photo routes, languages. Then we train your team for ongoing maintenance, which takes minutes.
No. The guide opens in the browser via QR code or link. Anyone who wants to can add it to their home screen. No registration, free for visitors.
No. Same technology, your own design: your logo, your colours, your images, your structure and only the modules your site needs. The SIG Areal App shows what is possible, not what it has to look like.
As many as make sense for your place. At the SIG Areal it's twelve, in an office building perhaps three, in a tourism region twenty. Your team enters the content once, the AI translates, your team checks and approves. Any further language can be activated later.
From four sources: sync with your existing website, import from Google Places and GPX files, maintenance in the admin area by your team, and AI translation into every activated language.
Visitors follow a prepared sequence of pictures and confirm each point they reach themselves. There is no continuous indoor positioning and no hardware in the building. Your team defines the route and its instructions.
Visits, page views, time spent, the most-used areas and your visitors' languages, for today, 7, 30 or 90 days. The analysis works without cookies and IP addresses and respects visitors' Do Not Track setting.
Yes. Premium profiles and event promotion can be offered to restaurants, hotels or shops. 100% of that revenue stays with you as the site.
Because every implementation is built individually: design, content, photo routes, languages, training. Four per quarter is the number at which each of them gets the attention it deserves.
FOUR SITES PER QUARTER. THE NEXT ONE COULD BE YOURS.
15 minutes is enough. You tell us how your site works. We tell you which modules and languages your visitors need, and you receive a fixed-price quote.
